In product, project, and system work, I start by understanding the matter correctly. I believe the right solution cannot emerge without clarifying needs, setting priorities, and seeing the real value of the work. For me, quality work is simple, clear, executable, and sustainable.
I don't begin producing solutions until needs, expectations, and constraints are clear. A misunderstood project never reaches the right outcome, no matter how well it is managed.
I break scattered ideas, unnecessary details, and decision-blocking work into clear, smaller pieces. A healthy direction cannot be set until the core matter surfaces.
Not everything is equally important at the same time. Work without clear priority scatters by the end of the day, even when it appears to be moving.
I look at whether the work is actually heading toward an outcome, not just whether it looks good. Seeing where it gets stuck is the most important part of moving the work forward.
I look not only at whether the work is completed, but also at how it will be sustained afterward. If the same problem keeps coming back, the work is not done.
